Financial planning workshop

Business Growth West Midlands is hosting an essential workshop tailored for entrepreneurs, business owners and those who have recently started their business journey.

This session will cover many critical elements of effective financial planning. The event takes place at the Village Hotel Dudley on Thursday 8 August and it will provide critical insights into effective financial planning, a key factor for business success.

• Getting started: identify your personal survival budget, understand initial expenditure requirements, and strategies to navigate the first six months.
• Setting specific goals: define clear financial objectives, such as increasing profitability, expanding operations, or achieving specific revenue targets.
• Collecting management information: learn to manage key data (KPIs) to monitor progress, avoid data overwhelm, and address early-stage concerns.
• Cash flow management: discover techniques for managing cash flow effectively to maintain financial stability, including income monitoring, expenditure control, and reducing working capital demands.

Additional support will be delivered by the BGWM Access to Finance team, offering workshops, masterclasses and one-to-one mentoring sessions led by experienced finance specialists skilled in unlocking funding and fostering business growth.
