Three things to know about Warrens Hall

  • Warrens Hall Riding School spreads over 60 acres, with stunning views across the Black Country. The Rowley Regis site has an elite training manège with a waxed silica sand surface. Its recently refurbished stables house both riding school and livery horses. The site has a modern community hub and a welcoming reception for waiting riders.
  • Warrens Hall Riding School has a strong social conscience and the team wants to break the stigma that horse riding is an elitist sport. By partnering with local SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) schools, community groups and care homes, Warrens Hall aims to make learning about horses fun, enjoyable and accessible to as many people as possible. The school is both a Sandwell HAF (holiday activities and food) and Gen22 provider. It also runs an apprenticeship programme, allowing students to work towards ABRS (Association of British Riding Schools) qualifications in riding, grooming and teaching.
  • The Male family owns Warrens Hall Riding School. Acquiring it symbolised a return home for CEO Neil, who wanted to move his business back to his family roots in Sandwell and to use the site for as many local charities and good causes as possible. The school has a team of sixteen people and 26 riding school horses.

And a fun fact about Warrens Hall

For many years, Warrens Hall Riding School was known for its 2,000-ton muck heap. New owners Neil and Emma Male removed the local landmark after taking over the site in 2021. This was much to the relief of their neighbours!

CEO, Warrens Hall Riding School

“The whole team is motivated to make a positive difference to the region. With a strong focus on the benefits that horse riding can bring to people, we are working with several local charities to open our doors to as many people as possible in order for them to reap the benefits of being around these gentle animals. From improving self-confidence and increasing mobility to reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, equine therapy can help both adults and children.

“Horses are unbelievable animals that can pick up on our emotions and feelings. They can make such a difference to lives and this is something Warrens Hall Riding School wants to share with as many people as possible. It is proven that horses can lift mood, increase happiness and help with overall mental wellbeing.”
