Energy reduction for SME manufacturers

This in-person event is ideal for manufacturers and businesses with high energy demands looking to reduce costs, improve energy efficiency and cut carbon emissions.

Hosted by The Brockmoor Foundry Ltd one of the UK’s few integrated sites that cast, machine and paint products on-site, the session will focus on practical strategies for energy reduction within industrial setting.

Steve Smith, Energy Manager at Brockmoor Foundry, will share how the business has implemented a successful energy efficiency programme, including securing £90,000 in grant funding to invest in new equipment. Attendees will also receive a guided tour of the facility to see the changes in action.

The session will also include best practices for data capture and monitoring, and a look at how changing operational behaviours can lead to measurable energy savings.

Business Growth West Midlands’ Local Business Adviser, Paul Sampson, will also be present to discuss support available through the Business Energy Assessment Service (BEAS).
